Dhenkanal: Laxmibus Yojana was launched by BJJ government for the transportation of poor and middle class people. The BJP government has come to power in the meantime. It is not known whether the government has given the order or not. But it has been observed that these buses are being converted from green to orange. About 28 Laxmibuses inside the Dhenkanal bus stand are being painted orange like this. The ‘Shankh’ logo sticker was removed from Laxmi buses overnight, the day after BJ lost the elections. Last January 31, Lakshmi bus service was launched in Dhenkanal district. In the first phase, 60 buses were scheduled to run on 53 routes in the district.
Till now, 25 Laxmi buses are plying in various blocks of the district and 4 buses for Sadar block are plying to different areas. There was a rumor that after the change of government, buses will not operate. Transport Minister clarified that the buses will run. But he said that the party sign of BJ is being changed from the buses. However, buses staying at Dhenkanal bus stand are being painted orange. Today the color of 3 buses has been changed. RTO has no information in this regard. Even the in-charge OSRTC manager has no information. It is not known who asked to change the color of the bus.
Dhenkanal OSRTC manager Rashmita Priyadarshani said, there is no information in writing. Write the news that the transport minister said.
