Tony Leung Ka-fai and Jackie Chan reunite for the upcoming action film "The Shadow's Edge."

The filming of Jackie Chan’s upcoming action movie, The Shadow’s Edge, is over. In it, Chan reunites with filmmaker Larry Yang, with whom he collaborated on the successful action comedy Ride On.

Additionally, it is Chan’s reunion with the main antagonist, Tony Leung Ka-fai, an experienced actor.

Remarkably, the two have previously appeared together in action movies like The Myth (2005) and The Island of Fire (1990).

Notably, Tony Leung Ka-fai is also well-known for his work with Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun-fat on films including Prison of Fire (1987), Johnnie To’s Election (2005), and Jean-Jacques Annaud’s The Lover (1992). God of Gamblers Returns (1994) and A Better Tomorrow 3 (1989).

Jackie Chan plays a retired police surveillance specialist in The Shadow’s Edge who is re-enlisted to assist in the capture of a gang of criminals.

Ci Sha (Raging Havoc, Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms), Broňo Bajtala (100 Yards), Lee Huang (Kung Fu Yoga), Zhang Zifeng (Aftershock, High Forces), and Wen Junhui (My Mother, The Legend Is Born: Ip Man) are among its other cast members.

Victoria Hon is funding it in collaboration with China ChenXiang Cultural Investment, iQIYI Pictures, Tao Tickets, and Hairun Pictures.

In addition to The Shadow’s Edge, Chan is reportedly working on a New Police Story sequel and a fourth Rush Hour movie. Additionally, he finished Karate Kid: Legends, a brand-new Karate Kid movie.
