In the Indore area of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday, a group of armed men ambushed and assaulted two Army officials in training, as well as sexually assaulted their female companion. Early on Wednesday morning, the officers and their two female companions went on a picnic at the famed Jam Gate, which is located 50 miles from Indore. This is when the event took place.
The officers were enrolled in the Young Officers (YO) course at the Infantry School in the Mhow cantonment town, according to the authorities. Around two in the morning on Wednesday, a group of thieves ambushed the 23-year-old officials as they were leaving for a night drive with their female friends near a picnic area on the Mhow-Mandleshwar route.
The seven-man group started attacking the women and one of the officers who was seated in a car. While he was away from the vehicle, the second officer called the police and his superiors right away. When the cops showed there, the miscreants took off.
A closer look at the medical records showed that the guy had visible symptoms of injuries, while the woman had been sexually assaulted by the miscreants. Hitika Vasal, the rural superintendent of Indore, told reporters, “A case under (BNS) sections pertaining to loot, dacoity, rape, and under the Arms Act has been registered.”
Four police stations sent out personnel to start looking for the persons who were accused. According to sources, all six suspects have been identified, and two of them have been placed under arrest.
